  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

For the Tacos:

  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cod: Pat the fillets dry and season with olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and lime juice.
  • Cook the Cod:
    • Bake: 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.
    • Grill: 3-4 minutes per side over medium-high heat.
    • Pan-sear: 3-4 minutes per side on medium heat.
  • Make the Slaw: Toss cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, mayo, and salt in a bowl.
  • Make the Sauce: Mix sour cream, lime juice, and hot sauce in a bowl.
  • Assemble the Tacos: Warm tortillas, add flaked cod, slaw, sauce, and optional avocado.
