  • 6 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 cup leeks, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup asparagus, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the crust: Pre-bake the crust at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Sauté vegetables: Cook leeks and asparagus in a skillet until tender.
  • Mix the filling: Whisk together eggs, cream, dill, salt, and pepper. Stir in salmon, cheese, and sautéed vegetables.
  • Assemble the quiche: Pour the filling into the pre-baked crust.
  • Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes until the center is just set.
  • Cool and serve: Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
