3 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional)
24 ladyfingers (Savoiardi)
3 large egg yolks
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup mascarpone cheese
¾ cup heavy cream, whipped to stiff peaks
Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
Prepare Coffee Soak: Combine espresso and coffee liqueur (if using). Let cool.
Make Mascarpone Cream: Beat egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy. Fold in mascarpone, then gently fold in whipped cream.
Layer Tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers briefly into the coffee soak and layer in a dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat layers, ending with mascarpone.
Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Serve: Dust with cocoa powder before serving.
